Bolton want World Cup winnerFrench world cup winner Marcel Desailly says he is tempted to join Bolton next season.
Desailly is currently playing for Qatar league leaders Al Gharafah after leaving Chelsea last summer.
He admitted: “Playing has inspired me to ask myself questions about my future career.
“I don’t see why I shouldn’t continue playing in a European league once my time in Qatar is up.
“I look at the example set by Fernando Hierro, who has carried on playing for Bolton, and it gives me food for thought.
“I miss being in Europe as I don’t get to see my family much.
“My team has a good chance of winning the title and the pressure and motivation have made me want to continue playing at the top level.
“My experience in Qatar has gone better than I’d expected, and I get a lot of pleasure from continuing to play football.
“The financial side can’t be ignored either. But the money alone would not have tempted me out there if I did not still have my passion for football.”
