Blues star puts the club firstBirmingham City defender Mario Melchiot says that helping his side bounce back from their early season traumas is of far greater priority than his own future.
Melchiot said: "Myself, everybody, knows at the end of the season that I'm on a Bosman. People keep asking me the same question about my future.
"But I'm not even considering it because it's not something I want to be worried about at the moment. There are more difficult things to sort out, for me and the team.
"It's not about Mario coming or going, it's not about other players coming or going, it's about how we can get Birmingham back on track.
"If you want to be something special in this league, you should worry about today and not worry about what might be happening tomorrow."
