Blues hoping for kick-startTurkish midfielder Muzzy Izzet is hoping that Saturday's 1-0 win over Sunderland can kick-start Birmingham's season.
The 31-year-old believes that the squad have the ability to pull clear of trouble.
Izzet told Sky Sports: "We're delighted with the three points against Sunderland because we needed the win,
"It's nice to have a full squad of players available, so the manager can make a few changes if needed.
"Hopefully this result can be a springboard for the rest of the season. Results breed confidence and now we can look forward to the home game with West Ham next Monday with more optimism."
