Blues finally land their man for £2.8 million

According to Sky Sports, Birmingham have finally agreed a deal to sign loan striker Walter Pandiani.

Blues boss Steve Bruce has always been keen to complete a permanent deal to land the 28-year-old, but the Premiership side could not settle on a fee with Deportivo La Coruna.

After several hours of negotiations between Depor president Augusto Cesar Lendoiro and Pandiani's agent Eugenio Botas, a £2.8 million fee has been thrashed out.
