Blackburn suffer midfield blowAussie flanker Brett Emerton will be out for at least two weeks after injuring his hamstring during the 1-0 loss to Charlton Athletic on Tuesday.
"We've lost Brett Emerton again to a hamstring, I think that is a consequence to the summer that he's had with his World Cup involvement," said Hughes.
"It looks as if it is the same injury that he suffered earlier in the season, hopefully it's not too severe and we can get him back in a couple of weeks."
