Bergkamp inspires 7-0 rompAfter inspiring Arsenal to a remarkable 7-0 win over Everton, striker Dennis Bergkamp believes the club will now reward him with a new contract.
After creating three goals and scoring Arsenal's sixth, Bergkamp said: "It's always in the back of your head it might be my last game at Highbury,
"Hopefully we can sort something out and I think the club will be sensible.
"They must have their reasons and it's not the first time, but I'm quite confident it will be okay."
Despite Bergkamp's impressive display, Arsenal boss Arsene Wenger refused to confirm whether the club would offer the Dutchman a new deal.
Wenger said: "I've made a decision, but we won't announce it until the end of the season,
"He is a super-special player. You don't meet a Dennis Bergkamp at the end of every street."
