Berger praises O’NeillAston Villa midfielder Patrick Berger has praised the influence of new manager Martin O’Neill and revealed his happiness with the new atmosphere at the club.
He said: "Everyone can see it is a happier place.
"Things were not right last season with results and the way we played.
"The mood is different. Everyone is smiling and everyone is happy. The players who wanted to move now want to stay.
"I now look forward to coming to work but that wasn’t the case every day last season."
"I still have something to offer. The manager knows what I can do and the fact he doesn’t feel age is a barrier is good."
