Bentley sets targetBlackburn Rovers midfielder David Bentley is hoping to get an England call up now that he has settled in at Ewood Park.
"I play week in, week out in the Premiership and being in the England squad is the next stage," said Bentley.
"If I am given the chance I will hopefully grab it, and I have the belief in myself that I can make that step up.
"I have got the confidence and belief and I have worked on myself physically to get up to Premiership level. I did not have the best start to my career at Arsenal but I am just looking to push on now.
"I am still young and I am still learning. I am coming in every day to get better and this is the place for me.
"The ability gets you to a certain level but it is ambition and desire which really gets you to the top."
