Bent wants Goodison send offStriker Marcus bent is hoping for the perfect Goodison send-off by clinching a fourth-placed finish this weekend.
Everton could seal the last Champions League position should they better Liverpool’s result this weekend.
The Blues sign off at home against Newcastle, before away games at Arsenal and Bolton.
But striker Bent, 26, a revelation since his £400,000 arrival from Leicester last summer, wants it done and dusted in front of their own fans.
He said: “It did not go the way we wanted last weekend but we have got Newcastle on Saturday. It’s still in our hands and confidence is high.
“The pressure has been on all season and we have proved we can deal with it. We want it tied up as soon as possible.
“The Newcastle game is the chance to box it off in our last home game this season. We are looking to win each of our remaining matches and we are not scared of anyone. We know what all three are capable of — Newcastle have a top side when everyone’s fit, Arsenal are Arsenal and Bolton have also had a really good season.
“None of them have less to play for than us. Newcastle want to finish as high as possible, Arsenal are still chasing second place and Bolton are going for the same as us.
“The gaffer has told us we have run a marathon and now have to sprint for the line. We know we can stand up to anyone.”
