Beattie vows to silence PompeyEverton striker James Beattie has promised to silence the Portsmouth boo-boys this weekend by ending his away day goal drought.
The former Southampton striker’s six goals this term have all come at Goodison.
Beattie said: “Fratton Park is never an easy place to go. I’m sure from a personal view I will get a very warm reception from the fans!
“I’d like to score for the fans that follow us. They’re tremendous.
“You never want to be just scoring at home. There is no better place to start than Fratton Park.”
