Barthez charged

Former Manchester United goalkeeper Fabien Barthez is facing a possible one-year ban after being accused of Spitting at a referee.

Barthez, who is now with Marseille, has been charged by the French federation over an incident in a club friendly against Casablanca in Morocco.
