Barcelona sign full-backDutch full-back Giovanni Van Bronckhorst has signed a new deal with Barcelona.
The former Arsenal star could not hide his delight after extending his stay at the Nou Camp till 2008.
He said: “I have renewed to keep myself here until 2008 and I am very proud to stay for another year,”
"“If you had said to me when I was 15 or 16 that at the age of 32 I would be playing for Barcelona it would have been like a dream.
He added: “I am very proud to have played on for another two years, making it three that I have been here now,”
“I hope now to win a lot more trophies and that the next two seasons are like the last two have been.
“The team will win more things because we now have even more great players in the squad.”
