Barcelona sign another star

Ludovic Giuly has followed Mexican Rafael Marquez in signing a new contract with European Champions Barcelona.

The skilful French ace has had a up and down season which ended with him holding up the Primera Liga title and the Champions League trophy only to then be surprisingly omitted from the France national team at the last minute.

He was heavily linked with a move to Liverpool before he agreed the new deal this week.
