Ayala threatens clubSpurs and Villareal target Roberto Ayala has threatened to sit out the upcoming season if he is refused permission to exit Valencia.
Ayala's agent Gustavo Mascardi said: "For us, the situation is clear,"
"Valencia have to allow Ayala to leave, or else he'll simply see out the last year of his contract without playing.
"I'm going to meet with Valencia's directors, because I do not understand their motives for rejecting Villarreal's offer.
"Ayala's desire is to go to Villarreal."
When asked if the player would consider a move to the Premiership Mascardi said: "That question depends on the club and the money,"
