African star: I rejected Barcelona and ArsenalGhanaian international midfielder Stephen Appiah has revealed that he rejected moves to both European Champions Barcelona and English club Arsenal in order to stay in Turkey with Fenerbache.
"At the start of the season I received offers to move," said Appiah.
"Among them were clubs as important as Barcelona and Arsenal.
"I had to say to all of them that, no, I preferred to stay at Fenerbahce.
"Barca and Arsenal made me very attractive offers."
