£6million Spurs bid revealed

Deportivo La Coruna president Augusto Cesar Lendoiro has admitted turning down a £9million Tottenham bid for Spanish international Diego Tristan.

However, having sold Alberto Luque to Newcastle, Depor resisted the advances of the Premiership club.

Lendoiro told Marca: "We rejected the offer of a total of 9million euros from Tottenham for Diego Tristan, because we believe Diego can recover and we have a lot of trust in him."
