Eggert Magnusson: I still believeWest Ham United owner Eggert Magnusson is still confident in the ability of the players to rescue the club from relegation this season.
"I still believe we can do it. I'm an optimist but it's getting serious now," said Magnusson.
On his decision to appoint manager Alan Curbishley during the course of the season, he said: "I've been impressed with him for many years and my impression since he's been at West Ham hasn't changed,"
"We played well in the first half (against Chelsea), we had to play like that for the whole game then we would have got the result - they are all good players, I believe in them."
