Lyon striker beamingMichael Essien scored two goals in Olympic Lyon’s 7-2 second leg thumping of German side Werder Bremen in the Champions League and admits he was thrilled at the amazing result.
Essien beamed: It was incredible,
"I loved scoring two goals and I am very happy.
"After losing two games we got together as a group and spoke about it and we said that we would win this game and we definitely did that.
"We are in the quarter finals now and we are very happy to be there.
"Anything is possible from now on but we will keep out heads up and see what happens from here."
