Spurs set to sign Argentina star

Tottenham Hotspur are being heavily linked with a move Argentinean international playmaker Juan Roman Riquelme.

Reports are today suggesting that the North London giants have tabled a £10million bid for the former Barcelona star who spent the majority of last season on loan at Boca Juniors.

Riquelme, 29, has been at Spanish side Villarreal since 2003 and has 41 international caps for Argentina.

West Ham United have also been linked to the player.
