Coach says: Socceroos can match the bestAustralia assistant coach Graham Arnold has praised the Socceroos after their narrow exit from the World Cup which came from the eventual Champions of the tournament, Italy.
"I don't think losing to the eventual winners makes it any easier to accept," he said.
"It just shows what a good job we did and how competitive we were to get beaten by the last kick of the ball against Italy.
"They had 10 men, we had 11 and we were confident of getting them in extra time because they had used all their substitutes and we had two up our sleeve.
