Ramos monitoring midfield starlet

Tottenham are reportedly chasing the signature of Sporting Lisbon midfielder Adrien Silva.

Manager Juande Ramos is looking to bring in some new faces in January and is said to be a keen admirer of the 19-year-old.

Silva recently admitted his desire to make the switch to England, saying: “I know English scouts have watched me. The Premier League is one of the biggest in the world.”

He would be available for around £4million.
