Red’s striker decides to leaveLiverpool striker Anthony Le Tallec has joined Sochaux on loan for the rest of the season.
Speaking to the Sochaux official website Le Tallec said: "Sochaux is an ideal club for me, it will allow me to grow and develop as a football player,".
"I am eager to grow with Sochaux.
"I have experienced a lot of things for a guy of my age and I believe I have gained mental strength from that.
"I hope I will soon play with France's Under-21 team again, but I am also hoping to be called up by France at some point.
"Raymond Domenech likes players who play in France."
Former Portsmouth boss Alain Perrin has been chasing the striker all summer and finally agreed a deal with the Merseyside club yesterday.
