Toffees star backs new-boyEverton defender Joleon Lescott thinks new signing Phil Jagielka will be a success at the club.
Lescott told Everton TV: "Jags has got my old number and I wish him all the best. We played against each other for the past five years and have been together at England Under 18s level.
"If he can do what he did at Sheffield United here, he will have no problem at Everton.
"He did exceptionally well in the Championship as well as in the Premiership last season for Sheffield United but unfortunately they got relegated. Fortunately for us we have got their best player."
