Toffees close on midfielder

Sheffield United ace Phil Jagielka is being heavily linked with a move to Everton this summer.

New Blades manager Bryan Robson said: “Keeping Phil looks like it will be a problem.

“He would rather stay in the Premiership. My job looks like being trying to get the best deal possible.”

The 24-year-old midfielder will be available for around £4million.
