Calderon dismisses Saviola reports

Real Madrid president Ramon Calderon has moved quickly to deny that the club had signed Barcelona striker Javier Saviola for next season.

Calderon told the official Real Madrid website: "I can assure you that Saviola has not signed for Real Madrid,"

"It is all speculation. Had we signed all the players that have been linked to Madrid by the press we would be able to have five teams."

Saviola has scored five goals in 18 Primera Liga appearances this season.
