Quagliarella available for £10millionNew Azzuri star Fabio Quagliarella will not be allowed to leave Sampdoria unless the club receives an offer over £10million.
Club director Beppe Marotta said: “We are evaluating his future, every decision must be taken with Udinese who co-own the player, but we have an excellent relationship with them,”
“The player’s value is set by the market itself,”
“If I compare Quagliarella to Alberto Gilardino and Francesco Tavano, I can say that he can be considered intermediate between the two of them and can be valued at approximately £10-14m.
“Obviously we want to keep him and will do all we can, but we must consider the financial needs of both us and Udinese. In any case, we will only consider extraordinary offers, otherwise we will keep him.”
He added: “Many outfits are keen on signing Quagliarella, he is 23-years-old and can still improve a lot,”
