Jol warns squadTottenham Hotspur manager Martin Jol has told his team to finish high enough in the league to earn an automatic spot in the Uefa Cup to avoid being recalled from summer holidays early.
Jol told the London Evening Standard: "I have told the players that if we are in the Intertoto they will have to come back to training in June,"
"It's not a problem for me but if we finish in the top seven the players can come back in July.
"It's not a big difference - Newcastle did well in the Intertoto last year but they had to start their season earlier."
He added: "It's important we qualify for Europe so we will do everything in our power to get the points we need,"
"We are level with Portsmouth and have a game in hand, so we have a great chance of getting in directly."
