Coppell dismisses reportsReading manager Steve Coppell has rejected any rumours linking full-back Nicky Shorey with a move away from the club.
He said: "Just because we are producing good players does not mean they have to move on,"
"We had one player, Steve Sidwell, who left because he was at the end of his contract.
"We don't have that situation with any of our present squad.
"There has been no approach (for the player)."
Shorey himself added: "We want to sit down and try and get something resolved and hopefully we'll have more talks now I'm back from honeymoon,"
