Scots in confident moodNewly appointed Scottish manager Alex McLeish is hoping to start his rein as boss with positive results against Georgia and Italy over the coming week.
McLeish told Sky Sports: "The reception has been fantastic and I hope to keep a smile on the nations' faces, that is important to me,"
"It has always been important in my career to make the fans as happy as possible but they are tough games.
"We know that the goodwill goes as far as performances, and if we put in a good performance, get three points and get off to a flying start then it will be terrific, but Georgia are a dangerous team.
"I know that they have been making noises over there, from my sources over there, that they fancy their chances so I will need to make our players very aware of that."
