Forssell praise for new boss McLeishBirmingham City striker Mikael Forssell has hailed the affect new boss Alex McLeish has had on the team.
He said: "We have had a change in the manager and he is encouraging us to attack more. He is encouraging us to play more on the ball and actually cause defences problems.
"That is a slightly different approach to games than what the old manager had. I am not saying it is a bad thing but at least we have more courage to do things even though we might let in an odd goal sometimes.
"We know we are attacking and putting pressure on teams. I benefit from that. I am all about attacking, going forward and causing teams problems."
He added: "I think I am over my injury problems - touchwood. I've been feeling really good since last season except for my hernia operation which set me back.
"I have been feeling good and I want to prove myself and help Birmingham City.
"It is all about scoring goals. When I score goals, I help the team. That's why I play football. If I don't score and we win, I'm not happy. That is the way it is."
