Delighted Smith looking for Euro performanceRangers manager Walter Smith has expressed his delight with the Old Firm victory over Celtic but is hoping his team can repeat the performance when they travel to Spain to take on Osasuna in the second leg of their UEFA Cup tie.
"Celtic started really well and looked very bright. We rode our luck for the first 25 minutes and gave away too many free-kicks," said Smith.
"We passed better and quicker in the second half and got our goal from set-play, which looked the only way either side was going to score.
"I am delighted to win and we've a big match next Saturday against our closest challengers for second place, Aberdeen.
"We can look forward to the game in Spain now and Kris Boyd was rested as we play five games in 13 days.
"I thought Filip Sebo played really well and put himself about."
