Liverpool defender out for the seasonLiverpool defender Fabio Aurelio has ruptured his Achilles tendon and will miss the rest of the season.
The left sided attacking full-back was taken off during the 3-0 win away at PSV this week and will not be back training for at least three months.
Liverpool spokesman Ian Cotton said: "A scan has confirmed a complete rupture of the Achilles tendon in Fabio's right leg,"
"The player will undergo surgery later today and is expected to be out for approximately three to four months."
