Pearce looking at former Toffee starletManchester City manager Stuart Pearce has handed full-back Michael Ball a week-long trial with the club.
Ball, who was highly regarded as a youngster at Everton, has failed to live up to expectations at both Rangers and Dutch side PSV and is now looking to return home to the Premiership.
Ball expressed his eagerness to prove his worth to Pearce saying: "This is a great opportunity for me to show the manager and staff here first-hand what I can do."
