Redknapp completes rival dealPortsmouth manager Harry Redknapp has talked of his happiness to have completed the signing of Southampton defender Martin Cranie.
He said: "Martin is a very promising young player who has the ability to go right to the very top of the game.
"I remember when I played him at Man City when I was at Southampton and he did a great job that afternoon on Shaun Wright-Phillips.
"He has bags of talent and is a great addition to the squad."
Cranie, 20, added: "This is a great opportunity for me to progress,"
