Ranieri leaves ParmaItalian tactician Claudio Ranieri has resigned as manager of Parma after successfully guiding them out of the Serie A relegation zone this season and is now the favourite to take over at Manchester City.
A statement on the club’s official website read: "Parma FC announce that Claudio Ranieri today informed the club of his intention to leave his role as coach of the first-team,"
"The club would like to thank Claudio Ranieri for the precious work carried out which resulted in keeping Parma in Serie A.
"We wish him success for the future."
