Hammers star ruled outWest Ham defender Anton Ferdinand has been ruled out of the Uefa Cup second leg tie against Palermo according manager Alan Pardew.
He said: "I don't know when he will be back but it's an absolute certainty that Anton will not be available for the Palermo game,"
On the recent form slump the club has had Pardew added: "Now with the Palermo and Reading games coming up, it would be good to get a couple of results to steady the ship.
"We need to get the feel-good factor back and regain some momentum."
