Hammers star linked to Newcastle again

Fresh off the signing of Chelsea star Damien Duff, Newcastle United are now upping their interest in West Ham striker Dean Ashton despite Hammers boss Alan Pardew recently dismissing any possibility of a move.

Magpies boss Glen Roeder is a keen admirer of the 22-year-old and is ready to test the resolve of the London outfit with a new bid for the player.
