Moyes delighted with signingEverton manager David Moyes has talked of his happiness to have completed the signing of Yakubu from Middlesbrough.
Moyes said: “I was confident everything would be OK. But until it’s confirmed you can never be 100 per cent.
“I’m delighted to have got him and if he scores at the rate he has, then he’ll do fine for Everton.”
Moyes will now switch his attentions to a deadline-beating swoop for a new midfielder.
Fulham’s £3m-rated Papa Bouba Diop and £5m Fenerbahce star Stephen Appiah are top of the Goodison chief’s shopping list.
