Turkish star happy to make Spurs move

Turkish playmaker Yildiray Basturk has expressed his desire to join Tottenham Hotspur.

Basturk said: "At 28 years of age it could be time to seek a fresh challenge elsewhere. I've always thought about playing abroad and the Premiership could certainly be interesting."

Basturk was part of the Bayer Leverkusen side that lost the Champions League final a couple of year ago. Spurs star Dimitar Berbatov was also part of that side.
