Irish star set for Premiership returnRepublic of Ireland defender Ian Harte is thought to be the subject of a transfer battle involving West Ham, Sunderland and Real Sociedad.
Harte is desperate to play top-flight football after being relegated from Spain's La Liga last season with Levante.
The 27 year-old said: "With the World Cup coming up, I need to be playing first-team football.
"My agent has spoken to the president of Levante and he said it would be beneficial if I move to another team in Spain or come back to England."
