Serie A club close to Silvestre deal

Rome club Lazio are reportedly close to signing Boca Juniors defender Matias Silvestre.

Silvestre told Radio del Plata: "I have been told today about the negotiations that Boca are having with Lazio,"

"The officials asked me if I was interested in playing in Italy and I said that if the club had interest in transferring me because it's good for the club then I agree."
