Vieira ruled outInspirational France captain Patrick Vieira has been ruled out the opening Euro 2008 game against Romania.
"You never know, (if he will be fit to take part in the tournament)" said coach Raymond Domenech
"We will try to have Pat in the best possible condition by June 8.
"The only certainty is that I already know he will be absent against Romania.
"We will give him the time to prepare himself quietly. We already know the work we'll do with him won't allow for him to be better for Romania. Holland? I'm not preoccupying myself with that for the moment."
