Kanu thrilled with HarryPortsmouth ace Kanu has admitted that the lure of playing for Harry Redknapp was enough for him to turn down the chance of playing Champions League football.
He said: “I had offers from Hamburg and from Spain, but could see Portsmouth would do well and I wanted to be part of it,”
“I chose to play for Harry Redknapp because I had heard so much from other people about him. He encourages and appreciates players. Whenever you are happy, you produce your best – that is what Harry has given to the team.”
