Tottenham- Jol wants moneyTottenham manager Martin Jol thinks the club should be compensated for lost revenue they expected for their UEFA Cup tie against Feyenoord after the Dutch giants were kicked out of the competition.
"My chairman thinks that if we want to play in Europe we should play in Europe," said Jol.
"He's right because it was a big tie against Feyenoord and hopefully we'll get some compensation but other people may think differently.
"At UEFA they could think 'you want to play, play against Wisla Krakow'. It's not a problem for them, and it's not a problem for us because if we have to play we have to play."
"I would take a bye, I have to be honest,"
"We've talked about saying 'we want to play in Europe, so we have to play in Europe'.
"But my reason is we've got so many matches it could be a helping hand to leave that one out and give us a bit more rest. That is an advantage."
