Nicolas content at BoltonFormer Liverpool, Arsenal and Real Madrid striker Nicolas Anelka says he is happy to be back in the Premiership following his spell in Turkey.
Anelka, who was recently recalled to the national team as a fill in for the injured Sydney Govou, said: "I'm not going to say I'm surprised, even if I've had no contact with a member of the staff since I arrived at Bolton,"
"Obviously, I appreciate my return to the national squad, but the main thing for me is to be returning to a championship which I like. Then, if everything goes well with Bolton, even better."
He added: "I'm still not 100%, but I'm not far off full capacity," he said.
"I feel good. In the League, I can now nearly play a whole match in its entirety."
