Arsenal to edge out Toffees, SpursNorth London giants Arsenal seem to have won the race to land highly regarded Bulgarian starlet Nikolay Dimitrov after it was confirmed that he would be joining the club on trial.
Levski Sofia director Nasko Sirakov confirmed: "We have known about Arsenal interest from about two weeks ago.
"The only thing now left is for Nikolay to travel to London."
Club manager Stanimir Stoilov added: "I am very happy for him.
"He is young and very talented.
"The invitation from Wenger is quite a tribute, not only for the player but for the club also."
Everton and Tottenham had both been linked with the player.
