Brazilian Elber to retire

Cruzeiro hit-man Giovane Elber has announced that he will retire from football at the end of the current season.

The former Grasshoppers, VfB Stuttgart, Bayern Munich, Olympique de Lyon and Borussia Monchengladbach star has been struggling with injuries and will hang up the boots when Brazilian Championship ends in December.
