West Brom interest flatters managerCoventry City manager Micky Adams rejected a move to take over at West Bromwich Albion but did admit feeling flattered by the Baggies approach.
Taylor said: "I think the approach was made last week and I was made aware of it.
"But I have said all along that what this club has not had for a few years is stability and that stability needs to stem from me.
"The approach was rejected and I was flattered but I get on with my job here."
