Spurs star relievedTottenham striker Robbie Keane has expressed his relief at taking the field against over Celta Vigo during the week.
Keane, who lasted 70 minutes in his comeback match said: “It was nice to be back for my first game of the season and I feel good. It’s been a bit frustrating with the neck injury but that’s the way it goes. I’ve still been able to train and it’s great to get back playing.”
He added: “Year after year there is competition here and strikers thrive on it,” he said. “That’s what you look forward to. You know if you’re not producing you won’t play and someone else will come in and do the job, so it keeps you on your toes at all times.”
