Dowie admits disappointmentFormer Crystal Palace manager Iain Dowie has expressed his disappointment to have lost his legal wrangle with Simon Jordan.
Dowie, who is now in charge at Coventry City, said: "Obviously this is a hugely disappointing result for myself and my family,"
"The whole experience has been a very testing time but it is not something I will allow to destroy my determination to succeed at Coventry City Football Club, who I am fully committed to.
"I am pleased that the judge has rightly found in my favour in relation to Crystal Palace's primary case for rescission of the Compromise Agreement.
"This means Crystal Palace have not succeeded in their claim for payment of the £1million compensation clause. I am naturally disappointed that the judge has ruled against me on the other issue raised in this first phase of the case.
"I am looking forward to returning to what I do best, which is managing a football team. I will not allow this episode to dent my enthusiasm for the game
and if anything, it will only serve to strengthen my resolve to be successful.
"I will continue to focus all of my energies on my family and my job at Coventry City."
and if anything, it will only serve to strengthen my resolve to be successful.
